The atelier
Vila Nova de Gaia,
just outside Porto.
A family-run atelier that has carried the same name since 1998 and is still run by the same family. No middlemen, no rotating production houses. One partner we've worked with directly since our first drop.

The process
From cotton to garment in a process we fully understand.
01
Fabric sourcing
We buy our cotton directly from specialised Portuguese mills. Heavyweight quality from 380 GSM and up, combed for a smoother hand.
02
Pattern
Our patterns are designed in Almelo and turned into production templates in the atelier. Every size is optimised separately.
03
Construction
Seams, cuffs, collars and hems are finished with double stitching on industrial Juki machines. Time: about 45 minutes per piece.
04
Garment-dye
The garment as a whole goes into the dye bath. That gives the specific wash and colour depth you don't get from standard dyeing.
05
Inspection
Every piece is hand-checked for seams, colour and fit. Pieces that don't pass go back into production or are pulled from the drop.
06
Shipping
Shipped in bulk to our warehouse in Almelo, from where orders go out to you via PostNL or DHL.
